LEONix blends Latin house and Afro house with melodic, emotive top-lines — live-feeling percussion, Spanish vocal chops, rolling basslines and chord progressions with real sunlight in them. It's music that reads as a party from the first bar but still has somewhere to go.
Everything is produced in Honolulu, and the island shows up in the records: tempos that sit where people actually dance outdoors, long breakdowns for sunset, and drops that hit without turning harsh on a beach PA.
As a DJ, LEONix mixes his own productions with the current Afro and Latin house circuit — think Keinemusik-adjacent grooves, tribal percussion, and the occasional melodic house peak — in sets that build from an early-evening simmer to full-tilt.
